Oh my GOSH, it’s been a minute! Aside from the boudoir side of things, I haven’t had much to shoot so far in 2025—but that’s about to change, and I couldn't be more excited! Spring is finally making an appearance here in West Michigan, and to celebrate (and help pass the time while I wait for wedding season to kick off), my photographer buddy Mandy and I pulled together a styled shoot with an amazing couple and a few awesome vendors.

Saying I was excited for this shoot would be a massive understatement. Even with the looming threat of April showers, everything came together beautifully! We kicked things off at our good friend Erick’s house—he’s a pro makeup artist and was kind enough to host us for part of the shoot. Mandy and I even swapped some new headshots while we were there, which was such a fun bonus!

Then Nate and Maddie arrived to get glammed up for the shoot. We kept things simple and elegant: a stunning white dress from Lulu’s for Maddie, a bouquet of fresh spring blooms from Playne Jayne’s Floral, and a whole lot of love between these two.

Even though they’ve been married for over ten years, Nate and Maddie still act like newlyweds—constantly smiling, holding hands, and being downright adorable together. It’s the kind of connection that makes my heart so happy to photograph.

We did have a few sprinkles to contend with, but honestly, I could’ve kept photographing them all day. They were an absolute dream to work with, and the whole shoot left me feeling even more excited for wedding season than before (which I didn’t even think was possible!).
