The first big wedding of the year is officially in the books, and Noah and Emma could not have asked for a more beautiful day to kick things off. After what felt like weeks of cold temperatures and nonstop rain here in West Michigan, the sunshine finally showed up at exactly the right time.
From the very beginning, these two planned a wedding that felt elegant, welcoming, and completely true to them. As huge plant lovers, Noah and Emma leaned into an greenery-inspired design filled with natural textures, soft romantic details, and special touches that fit their venue perfectly.
And speaking of the venue… it was easy to see why they fell in love with Twin Gables. The stunning architecture, the warm atmosphere, the gorgeous ceremony space lined with benches, and those massive vaulted ceilings in the reception area made everything feel both grand and inviting at the same time. Every part of the day felt thoughtful and beautifully put together without ever losing that comfortable, joyful feeling that made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.
Emma was glowing all day long, and Noah could not stop smiling knowing he was finally getting to marry the love of his life. There were tears during the ceremony, laughter all throughout the day, and one very full dance floor once the reception started. The live ceremony music from singer and pianist Anita Bohn added such a beautiful touch to the day, and once the party got started, their DJ, Adam Freeman, absolutely delivered. These two wanted the dancing and atmosphere of the reception to really wow their guests, and it definitely did.
As usual for me, I took WAY too many photos… which means narrowing these down for the blog was nearly impossible. But honestly, weddings like this make it hard not to overshoot. Noah and Emma were surrounded by so much love, happiness, and excitement from every single person there, and it made the entire day such a joy to be part of.
Congratulations again to the new Mr. and Mrs.! I’m so excited to finally share some favorites from such an incredible wedding day.
