It couldn't have been a more beautiful day at Bay Pointe Inn on Gun Lake. With blue skies overhead, a beautiful lakeside view, and so many of their favorite people gathered together, Meggan and Dylan said "I do!" with the biggest smiles on their faces.

It was the perfect place for these two to get married. As big fans of the lake and everything West Michigan has to offer, they knew Bay Pointe was the one the moment they saw the Lakeside Pavilion. They wanted a venue that let the natural beauty of Michigan shine, and the soft shades of blue throughout their wedding complemented the setting perfectly without taking away from it.

So many friends and family members traveled from out of town to celebrate with them, making the whole day feel like one big reunion. There was plenty of laughter, a little bit of chaos (the fun kind!), and so much excitement from everyone who was there. Even the Michigan wind decided to make an appearance, but thankfully it only added to the adventure.

One of my favorite parts of the day came just after the ceremony. We snuck away for a quick visit with their sweet dog, Jackson. He had been dealing with some health issues and wasn't able to attend the wedding like they had originally hoped, but he was close by and SO happy to see his mom and dad all dressed up. Watching him soak up all the cuddles and kisses was enough to make everyone smile, and it was such a special little break in the middle of the day.

Back at Bay Pointe, the celebration kept right on going. The dance floor stayed busy, guests were having a great time, and it was obvious just how loved these two are. Meggan and Dylan spent the entire day smiling, laughing, and soaking it all in together, which made it so much fun to be a part of.

One thing Meggan hoped her guests would take away from the day was just how beautiful Southwest Michigan really is. Between the lake views, the pavilion, and the gorgeous weather, I'd say it did exactly that.

Congratulations again, Dylan and Meggan! Thank you for trusting us to be there on such an important day. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with just as much laughter, happiness, and maybe a few more visits from Jackson, too.
