My final wedding of 2025 was David and Paige’s downtown Grand Rapids celebration, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the year. Unlike the mild Decembers we’ve had recently, this one delivered real winter — and December 13 did not disappoint. It was blustery, cold, and snowy… but none of that stood a chance against the warmth of their day.
Things didn’t always go exactly according to plan (as weddings sometimes do), but Paige held onto the perspective that mattered most: she was marrying her best friend, no matter what. That kind of mindset sets the tone for an entire day, and it showed. From start to finish, their wedding was filled with joy, connection, and so much genuine happiness.
Friends and family spent the day together before the celebration shifted into full party mode at High Five GR. The elegant downtown space was transformed into a black-tie–inspired evening with just the right touch of holiday sparkle. Once the music started, the dance floor stayed full — complete with surprise appearances from the Grinch, which only added to the fun.
David and Paige were incredibly welcoming, kind, and an absolute joy to work with. I’m so grateful I got to be part of their day and to close out my 2025 wedding season with such a fantastic couple. Congratulations to you both — wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventures together.
