When I first met Adam and Rachel, we had such an awesome time chatting. What was supposed to be a quick meeting to talk about their wedding turned into over an hour of easy conversation about plans, life, and everything in between. Throughout the summer, I stayed in touch with Rachel as the big day got closer, and my excitement just kept building.

Adam is finishing up his residency in Minnesota, while Rachel planned the wedding here in Michigan before joining him after the big day. Coordinating from different states wasn’t easy—so much so that we never quite managed to fit in an engagement session while Adam was in town—but we definitely made up for it on the wedding day!

Rachel was understandably anxious leading up to everything (so many emotions—I get it!), but her bridesmaids kept her grounded and laughing until she saw Adam for their first look. He was her calm in the storm, steady and smiling all day long.

After a beautiful ceremony in Sparta, we made our way down to Grand Rapids for their stunning reception at the Pantlind Ballroom at the Amway. Rachel styled the entire evening with Beauty and the Beast inspiration in mind—from red rose centerpieces and elegant mirrors to ornate artwork and towering ceilings that truly set the scene. She wanted to “WOW” her guests, and she absolutely did. The space was magical, romantic, and perfectly them.

It was such a joy spending the day with these two and watching them start their new chapter together. I’m so happy for you both and can’t wait to see where life takes you next!
